Know Thyself Consulting

Scales

Astrologically representing the sign of Libra, the scales depict the justice of true balance (or the lack of it). KTC encourages senior managers in their efforts to acquire a healthy balance between technical know-how and the ability to lead and live wisely.

Much is expected of those who aspire to lead others in business today.

It is often true that potential leaders are spotted and groomed fairly early on in their careers. Their progress up the managerial ladder is carefully watched via talent reviews and other measurement processes. If there are obvious omissions in their skill or knowledge, this is usually quickly remedied with training, skill centres, management games, coaching and the like.

All too often though this process of 'tender loving care' and exposure to increasingly challenging commercial situations brings the promising individual to an invisible ceiling or barrier. The rapid elevation falters and the leader fails to lead in the truest sense of the word.

It has become evident that the promising one knows lots of 'things', but knows little about him or herself and is oblivious to the impact this has on others and on performance.

It is never too late for unlearning. Don't continue to pour more 'stuff' into an already stuffed individual.

Know Thyself Consulting understand the career catastrophies that unbalanced development (all knowledge of stuff and little wisdom) cause, and teach individuals to apply proven 'undoing' processes that return personal equilibrium to the leader in a more powerful and resourceful way.

Would such processes work for people in your organisation?

  • Yes, if you haven't got time to wait for an 18 month long coaching programme to take effect
  • Yes, if you have a bright leader with plenty of know-how who walks over others and doesn't know how to inspire or develop their people
  • Yes, if an intelligent manager is unable to show their true worth because of low confidence or self esteem
  • Yes, if a senior person is resisting personal change and regretfully, the only way through seems to be the way out of the organisation

If, when reading the above, someone springs to mind, read on...
