YourExperience
Our strengths and talents, like our DNA, are no accident; we are created by God. As you read Psalm 139, you begin to understand how uniquely you were formed.
These are the three stages of the Know Thyself experience, regardless of which package you choose.

Finding Selfhood
Psalm 139: 13-14
We know ourselves pretty well…at least we think we do. What we know is what our behaviors and actions look like but often we don't search for the WHY behind our actions. In this stage we'll help you take a closer look at your strengths and talents, spending time understanding the nature of your giftedness and how, when looked at in concert with your most intense talents you begin to see your unique attributes. Then we'll spend time identifying your blind spots of which you may be unaware. Our blind spots come from not fully understanding how we are perceived by others, especially others who have talents that differ greatly from our own. Once you see your strengths though both lenses you'll begin to understand how and why things happen as you experience them.

Finding Purpose
Psalm 139: 16
God has a purpose for each one of us, using the talents He gave us, to fulfill the plan He had when we were knit together. We are fearfully & wonderfully made but that message has been completely lost for some of us.

When translated from the Hebrew, "fearfully," means with great reverence, heart-felt interest, and with respect.
"Wonderfully" means unique and set apart.
If that much care was taken to form us uniquely, then shouldn't we find what we were set apart to do? Our purpose may lie in our ability to simply show kindness, to teach, to walk with others, to lead others...the list is limitless. What we know is: if we were created by God for a purpose, then that purpose is significant in His greater plan for us as his body.

Finding Joy
Psalm 139: 8-10
Joy in the dictionary is defined as a feeling of great pleasure and happiness and there is certainly nothing wrong with that. But how would Joy be defined by God?
It surpasses happiness and pleasure, which are temporal emotions based on circumstance. Joy runs deeper; it is not temporal and it persists in the face of adversity, through challenges and even in the midst of tragedies.
Joy is BORN in us through the Holy Spirit which comes to us from living a life of faith and fulfilling our purpose. When Joy is in our heart we can also find love, peace, hope, kindness, patience, goodness, faith & self-control. Joy literally comes from God living within us. In this stage we are living the life God designed for us when he made us. A joyful life can be found in the humblest of circumstances and it is for everyone who has the courage to seek it.
